  1. I would love Go Away, Big Green Monster! because it would be an awesome complement to the book by Ed Emberley (that’s what the app is based on anyway) and because it’s always nice to have different ‘multimedia’ activities related to a book- paper activities as well as iPad or computer activities! More ways to engage the kiddos = potentially more success in receptive/expressive language therapy!

  2. I would love to have Peekaboo Trick or Treat. I have a lot of low language and younger kiddos this year and think they would enjoy the app. I like the graphics (not too visually distracting) and the fact that the app is based around a familiar concept (trick-or-treat), both of which are ideal for my students.

  3. I would love to have Peek-a-book Trick or treat. 2nd choice Go Away Big green Monster. I have a full caseload of preschool children who and I can think of tons of language building with these apps…

  4. I would love Go Away Big Green Monster to read with my preschool speech and language kiddos for Halloween or anytime! It’s a great story and would be a wonderful resource to add to my monster unit!

    1. I would love to share Go Away Green Monsters with my little peeps in kindergarten and 1st grade. What a fun book to share on Halloween.

    2. Saw the Threshers last night for the 8th (and final, heading north tormorow) time this spring, and actually saw Cosart for the 4th time. He threw 91 pitches, 59 for strikes, his best command was obviously his FB, lesser with his change-up(I think, hard to tell, might have been a slider) and his curve his worst. Looks to me that’s the pitch he’ll be working on as most young pitchers usually do. Of the 8 hits he gave up, 2 were infield hits, one was a blooper, but the other 5 were well hit, one off a curve the others off his fastball. He kept his FB down on those hits so either they were over the plate or they are just good low ball hitters. Just a comment on Cosart’s last start, it really shouldn’t have been as bad(5er) as it was. In the 5th he had 2 outs and a man on 2nd (already down 2-0) and a 1-2 count on a guy he already twice struck out, but he hit him , then gave up back to back doubles making the score 5-0. So he could have been out of the inning but instead gives up 3 runs.Just a few comments on the hitters:Singleton- First time I saw him hit was 2010 ST when he was with the EST group playing a college team and what impressed me right away was how hard he hit the ball. Well 2 levels up he still doing the same thing and I hope he continues right up the ladder.Castro-Everybody knows he doesn’t take pitches but he also hits the ball very hard and has a good arm. I think his ceiling is as a 4th OFSavery- He could end up a Ross Gload type, with less power. He’s not afraid to take pitches or hit with 2 strikes and hits a lot of balls the other way even though the 1 homer I saw him hit went to RF.Ruf- He surprised me with his athleticism at 3rd(he made one great dive to his right and hopped up and threw the runner out) but not sure he’ll ever hit enough for any position.Mattair- He surprised me with his bat this year especially after his season at Lakewood, he’s actually looked very interesting. Just have to see how he progresses.Valle- worried about him, he really has an upper cut swing, and not many of those are in the big leagues.James- I still have a lot of hope for him despite his low average, because he hits a lot of balls hard just needs to lower those K’s.

  5. I’d love Go Away Big Green Monster to use with my preK and level 3 students! Sequencing, colors, body parts, articulation targets…great!

  6. I would love to win the peek a boo app. My 2 yr old son lives peek a boo games and is almost always willing to work on some sounds if there is peek a boo involved!

  7. I would like having Go Away, Big Green Monster! to use with those children who love the iPad but are rough on paper materials and books. I’ve found for now that stories on the iPad have been successful while we work on the behavior of proper respect of books. Go Away, Big Green Monster has great language!

  8. I would love a copy of go away big green monster. I am currently working with several recently internationally adopted younger children who are terrified by the prospect of upcoming Halloween, since they don’t have this holiday where they come from. I think this app would be a great tool for desensitizing them and allowing them to have control over the “monster” so they could have fun in the process.

  9. So when you do a giveaway, how do you track when it’s been pinned? Or do you not really track it, but just encourage it. Just curious…when I’ve ever done giveaways on my blog (rare) it’s seemed like too much work to track tweets, etc, but maybe there’s some way I don’t know about.

  10. Definitely Haunted Heroes for my little boy. I know he loves Superheroes almost as much as I do. :-) I hope to use this to help him with his speech. He is in the spectrum, has oral apraxia, language delay and articulation disorders.

  11. My 9 yo. son with CP and Apraxia would love Go Away Big Green Monster! His speech is severely affected and he has been trying to make Monster sounds! He is so excited about Halloween coming up!

    1. Anonymous April 30, 2012 Honestly , I’m a bit guilty of haivng these negative impressions toward Indian people. My very first social network next to friendster was a language site. I met different nationalities and Indians have bad reputation in that site coz most of them were there not to learn language but to do cyber sex. So I always decline every time I see a friend request or chat request from Indians then one time I got a chat request but the nationality was not displayed and the photo was not looking indian, To cut the story short , I was able to chat with this person , to my surprise, the person is very smart, and well grounded.. from then on we became really good friends. I’ve learned so much about Indian culture and vise versa. If you want to piss an Indian national tell him that their cricket team will be lost with Pakistan and if wants to piss me off he will just tell that Manny Pacquiao sucks..watch this bollywood movies, I promise you, you’ll get be addicted to it I recommend: ghajini’and if you love the movie email me and i’ll recomend another one and a lot more

  12. I would love Go Away Big Green Monster or Haunted Heros. It’s hard deciding on just one – both look great! Thank you for the giveaway!
